i think the new one "biology" it's even better. i can't get out of my head the second section of the song. make me say stupid things like "neu!" or "wire" (and i really don't know why).

Girls Aloud are going from strength to strenght aren't they? The most recent two singles have been awesome. Will be interesting to see if they can match Rachel Stevens in the album sakes this year.

Girls Aloud v Sugababes clash!
Great idea, esp now both bands are in that problematic post-Greatest Hits stage (and have been around longer than anyone expected).
But what a terrible take on a classic song - even if it is for charity.
The question is: who wins?
I reckon Sugababes....

Yeah, it's totally misguided - the whole point of the original is that it takes 2 bands with different sounds and pits them against one another. Whereas Sb and GA are coming from very similar places.

Shame, cos it should be fucking great; what a missed opportunity...

that run dmc cover is awful and a new low for them sadly but i loved their other singles. am patiently waiting for the backlash to gain some momentum though - theyve being lauded FAR too much at the moment, its inevitable theyre going to fall from grace now. this single might just be the first step

Just five very boring, dozy girls who happen to be quite pretty and able to hold a tune.
British manufactured pop is inherently naff, imho. The yanks have got Justin, Christine, Beyonce, all having at least made a couple of decent tunes.

id take any of GA's singles over crazy in (over melismatic melodically deficient and warbling) love or aint no other man. love machine is far better than any of those two's singles.

You're talking about two completely different things tho- one is white production pop... the other is pop R'n'B. As far as the former goes, in the main Girls Aloud are about as good as you can get... amusing lyrics and interesting structures.

my mate won a competition to have sugarbabes play round his house one day,
funny thing he was living at rock god jimmy page's at the time, but he'd moved out by the time the gig was organised.
