My dad knew Dave 'body of Darth Vader' Prowse - they used to train at the same gym in Bristol.

I had lunch with Dave Prowse and Rolf Harris when I was six - they were both honorary something-or-others with a charity that my Dad worked for.

I sold Noel Gallagher a pair of chocolate brown linen shorts once.

And my friend's judo instructor lives in Fatboy Slim's old house.

When I worked in a computer shop I didn't sell a joystick to Brian May (and son) or a Mac laptop to Laurie Anderson.

Some time in the late eighties I accidentally observed Aled Jones buying a large ghetto blaster in Tottenham Court Road. I think this was just following his initial flush of success.

The poet and novelist Michael Rosen kicked me in the leg during a football match when I was a kid. It hurt quite a bit.

One Halloween Bill Oddie was very generous with a large bag of chocolate raisins when we trick-or-treated his house.

I went to school with Alexander McQueen. He was called Lee McQueen then. We had to wear a uniform so I couldn't tell if he was that snazzy in those days. the gay thing though was definitely something that came later on.

Myleene Klass used to live in the flat upstairs from me. How's that for a bit of z-list star spotting ?

But, to be fair, you would if she offered..

I used to go to school with her. We were in the same science group for a year, the she went to stage school or whatever.

Also I went to university with the guy who sang that fcking JCB song that was Xmas number one a couple of years ago. He used to play his guitar on the bus into town and stuff. Twat.

there is a good picture of her about 17 on the wall of islington indian veg on market street, circa mid 90's as a contestant in some indian veg related beauty contest.

Man, your school sucked.

A "story" broke once about her and she stated that she was moving as she couldn't see the Thames from her flat. My flatmate rang up the Sun to dispute the story. Genius.

Ah, the money we could've made..

When I was around 11 years old, I waited in line at a Jackie Chan signing for an HMV opening in Singapore just so I could give him the finger.

I sat at the next table to the whole of Kajagoogoo at breakfast in a hotel in cornwall when Too Shy was number one.

I saw Ray Reardon give a snooker demonstration at Pontins.

My mate claims to have been behind Professor Griff buying a stopwatch in a sports shop and immediately bought the same model.

I literally bumped into Brian May on Notting Hill Gate, he is well tall especially with that big hair.

My most exciting famous person meeting: once Joey Beltram came in the shop where I worked and it was all I could do not to go :Wum wum wuhwuh wum wum wum wuhwuh wum waaa waaaa wum wum wuhwuh wum wum wum etc etc.

Hahaha...reminds me of a time I was talking to Idle Rich and I asked him "What goes bwow, bwow, bwow-wow-bwow, bwow, bwow, bwow-wow-bwow; he thought it was the beginning of a joke, whereas I just couldn't remember the name of that song. :)

I am friends with his god-daughter, actually. I haven't asked much about what he's like (mainly because I don't care), but I can't imagine him not being a right twonk.
The Poet Laureate's daughter was a couple of years below me at the sixth form I went to, and she's really sound.

When I used to go and try and play golf (this is at like, age 14/15) I stood next to ex-Chelsea keeper Kevin Hitchcock at a driving range in Essex. I was shitting it, but he spoke to me and my dad and seemed really nice. Jody Morris was also out on the course, along with a not-so-famous-then youth player called John Terry. I didn't meet them though.

I was once on the Central line and a very drunk man was talking to me about how he was Jay Kay's cousin, and he was on his way to visit his ex-girlfriend in Leytonstone and really hoped she wasn't pregnant. He did look a bit like Jay Kay, but he might have just been talking bollocks.

I also once stood about two metres from Jay-Z, when he was being shown around the Top Shop on Oxford Street by the tubby manager.

None of these are particularly interesting though, sorry.

Jeremy Beadle once came into my place of work. We were all morbidly fascinated by the hand and couldn't help trying to sneak glances.
