I was surprised to see Christopher Walken pop up in Dune - clearly I'd not been paying attention - immediately that Fat Boy Slim song with the Dune referencing lyrics and him in the video came to mind, was this some kind of deliberate choice from Villeneuve? Has this been discussed already?

Just read a book called Closer by Dennis Cooper, never read him before. Kinda gay punk stuff, loads of vignettes described by various members of a loose group of teenagers, taking drugs and fucking and beating each other up, eating shit that kind of thing. I enjoyed it a lot. Dunno why I never...

This is good, I thought it sounded kinda similar to Freak by LFO, and then it struck me that as the title is so similar it must be some kind of homage or something.
