Big fan here.
Can't believe you don't like Rosie the dog. The jingles issue I get.
It's nice that he seems to have got over the 'my friends are more successful' / 'why am i not allowed to make TV programmes any more?' issues (maybe too strong a word) and is enjoying himself
I'm looking forward to listening to it tonight. It's their 'ambient session' yeah?
I have enjoyed listening to 3 over the past week tt1pd and acid mwan idle esp.
This week's (NTS 2) is amazing and highly recommended for those who think Autechre are all about hypercomplex beats /machine music blah blah.
Lots of clever references to the last 10+ years of dance music. A bit more ambient in places. Great stuff
Craner: NTS 1 had an artificial intelligence...
Loved Bird Sound Power. Not had chance to listen to new one that much, but hasn't grabbed me in quite the same way.
Was a bit obsessed with that Fact mix when it came out.
This Fader mix from end of last year is also great:

Yeah, I was lobbing all Vegan SxE under the Vegan Reich label for convenience.
There were obvs vegans and some vegan/ SxE bands about but the the only ones that were good weren't identifying as that.
As John mentioned upthread, the UKHC scene was not really SxE- cultural relationship...
By the time I got into H/C properly (1988) SxE was a thing, although more Minor Threat / Bad Religion inspired (and seemingly linked to skateboarding/ BMX) a bit later it was very Revelation focused (YoT, GBs etc) and more American (Jock?) sportswear. It seemed to die off as a specific thing...
If you want to explain to a 16 year old their place in the social world in the 21st century in about 5 minutes, you can use Marx easily and pretty convincingly, so he remains massively significant.
Re: BOC When they came out it was something different, so they stood out. I agree that they wouldn't have done if on Ninja Tune (but probs a bit too outre for them)
El Seq is pretty friendly / approachable- El Seq 3 esp.
(Re: breakcore Been listening to a lot of DJ Scud / Ambush stuff...
