Think there's a double malaise going on between my generations parents and us- less benefit in being independent and likewise less meaning to fill an empty nest. Our parents, raised by horribly repressed boomers, are generally more conscious about being cool too. I couldnt live with my parents for too long a time again but I get those that haven't left yet

it had never occured to me. i was like you. wasnt a possibilty. but i was at starbucks as s 19 year old and i was in love with Cecilia. the sight of her made my cells dance and sing, she was 7 years older. i loved her. and she invented stealing there. when she walked it was like she was walking on air. shes the last women i loved. and once she taught us how easy it was there was no looking back

Never steal isn’t true. I have stolen as a child and young teen and would do again if I was desperate, if my family were starving or for example if I was enchanted by a witch or a shaman like luka who transcend ideas of private property
