tech nerds need to measure everything, I wonder how one selects a winner in poetry? a bit hard to develop data points on flow and insight, meaning.

You could measure audience response - likes, shares, time spent on the page, etc.

My guess would be that they presented the (let's say) two poems to a panel of experts and tried to make them slip up on which one was written by C3PO.

I'll report back if I'm a billionaire by Christmas.
Or at least pay one of your underlings to update us.
Anyway, apparently there are 57 fewer billionaires than there were this time last year. Stock market crashes have meant that the number has decreased for the first time in a long while. Most of the casualties were Chinese and Indian I read.

Speaking of which, Bloomberg poised to enter the Democratic presidential primary.

I can see him appealing to lots of moderates who are scared of Warren/Sanders policies and worried about Biden's competency. I can also see him standing toe to toe with Trump, an actual tough businessman who's actually successful, as opposed to the Trump family fraud.

I can also see him turning off lots of midwesterners with his strong gun control position. Not sure if the Dems are ready to anoint a billionaire in this time of staggering income inequality.

Is America ready for an east coast elite multi-billionaire Jewish president?

I'm definitely wary of billionaires thinking that their money let's 'em do anything, up to and including be president. Two billionaire (supposedly) in a row would really show that the American Dream is dead.
Not sure he is gonna make it though today....

Bloomberg has a 5pm deadline today to file for the Democratic presidential primary in Alabama, but he (and presumably his staff) have yet to be seen

But are these people having their tears delicately dabbed away by a nubile maiden using a piece of scented silk because they're now only worth a pitiful $986,000,000, or are they - as I'm sure we all hope - totally ruined to the point of offering blowjobs for pennies?

It didn't say... my guess would be more are in the former camp but you never know. If you are highly leveraged and you get things wrong then you can suddenly swing round to minus billions... potentially at least.
Speaking of which did you see this thing where people found a loophole on this trading platform which allowed them to borrow loads of money with only a few grand invested? They were borrowing huge sums and losing it as fast as possible counting on them not suing them to try and get the money back cos obviously none of them would be able to pay it.

There was a good line Christine Quinn came out with on the second series of Selling Sunset: "millionaires have views, billionaires have compounds."

He even mentioned and linked to his own thread at one point and everyone just ignored it. Brilliant.

🤣
