why is there no wikileaks thread?

this'll probably be to do with gary mckinnon don't you think? not necessarily et related but i have wondered if wikileaks have something quite dramatic they've been sitting on. something that would boost the courage and conviction needed to put themselves in the position they're in, or work as...

    Juke

yeah sure. what's striking is just how similar the moves there are, though less manic and not so much in a battle format. i suppose there's only so much can be done with feets. ;)

hey foax, has this been mentioned here at all? interesting bit of history. i guess where northern soul and uk jazz dance was meeting breaking. they called it footworking apparently. i mean interesting that it's captured in a pop video in 1984.

    Brazil Forever.

Contemporaneously speaking, what I've heard off this comp sounds really good. Disc: 1 1. Mini Box Lunar - Amarelasse (Amapá) 2. Do Amor - Perdizes (Rio de Janeiro) 3. Tulipa - Pedrinho (São Paulo) 4. Graveola e O Lixo Polifônico - Outro Modo (Minas Gerais) 5. Diego de Moraes e O Sindicato -...

Please recommend me a decent & affordable MIDI keyboard

That's true. Or if you have a MIDI interface, look out for a good deal on a second hand keyboard / synth.

Please recommend me a decent & affordable MIDI keyboard

I'd prefer more than two octaves myself but everything mentioned so far has been so this is worth a look. No USB though so if you wanted to use it with a computer you'd need a MIDI IN port. It's possible someone will hack the wireless (bluetooth?) for MIDI at some point. The Akai MPK looks...

Good to see you lot enjoying this too. I thought the Arnie was a better Herzog though.

Spdif works on optical cables as well. But of course your pic looks just like an RCA socket, which it must be as it looks just like the audio outs. Weird, not sure why you'd have a problem with the cable... You've got RCA digital output on the back the MPC? And an RCA cable with plugs on either...

    Bus drivers are cunts

As I said, this wasn't a concern I was referring to exactly, but actually I don't think this is true. Of course information is shared and there is absolutely the potential for databases to become linked. It's really not that big of a deal in technical terms. Again it's not that I'm 'worried'...

    Bus drivers are cunts

It's you and grizzleb that keep going on about central computers and linked databases, not me. And you know, it was a joke about TFL (that shadowy alphabet agency) rewarding customers for their personal info. I don't actually think it's worth 80p a pop to them. Associated savings might be...

    Bus drivers are cunts

You don't say. Do go on... Well perhaps, who said otherwise? Let's see, why did I mention the police? Oh yes, it was in reply to grizzleb who has been going on at length about how the information is of no use as far as being personally identifiable. So I asked if this is the case why would the...

    Bus drivers are cunts

Actually I think it's mostly kept for the purposes of solving problems with cards / lost cards etc. Information used to monitor service usage wouldn't need to be personally identifiable as far as I can see.

    Bus drivers are cunts

Grizzleb, if the Oyster data is so useless why do the police and intelligence services use it?

    Bus drivers are cunts

Oh really. The point is that the information is there. The details of the last eight week's journeys are logged alongside your name and address and are readily searchable. Of course nobody 'cares' about most of it (what do you imagine - a secret policeman monitoring every journey in realtime?)...

    Bus drivers are cunts

Yes, I joked about the difference in fares being a 'reward' for providing personal information. You'll notice I go on in that post to say something else, "Taking a slightly more generous view..." No? Here's an emoticon to make it more obvious this time. The humour is somewhat black...
