The really good James ferraro album (or at least the one I like a lot) is probably last American hero I would say, the one with the storage unit cover.

I never liked that one that all the critics liked, far side virtual. Really fucking annoying sounds. Prefer the familiar melodies with scuzz over the top.

Favourite single thing he's done is probably

And then I also likes the cold mixtape

But its S bit cringe. I think all the skaters stuff is pretty boring, I don't like Spencer Clark all that much.

He (ferraro) also did a good mix

Never seen him live, I think that's where it was at by all accounts.

Should say I'm really no ferraro expert or head really, I just like the odd bit. I'm strictly a Dean blunt expert really

There's a recent one based around the Mirai botnet. The one that knocked out a big chunk of the web by infecting IoT appliances.

Gotta say I'm less into his more recent more overtly conceptual work, more just thd sounds I find less attractive. When these guys grow up I get less interested

I don't know if this fits the bill but I had a fascination with this a few years ago. Works well late at night while contemplating the utter futility of existence under late capitalism. Dug it out again early lockdown, with the reports of dolphins frolicking in the canals of Venice. Bit of a Maurizio Bianchi vibe to some sections.

I've got a Peaking Lights LP it's good but the one with the doorbell sample is annoying.
