nearly posted that 3 amigos tune last night, I love it too. I didn't bother cos I like practically everything that gets put on Certified Jackin, its difficult to pick standouts! I'm guessing its affiliated to bigtunesmp3 somehow and only posts the cream of the crop from that site right?

Yeah, I didn't want to just dump a bunch of certified jackin vids on here, but some of them demand to be shared. I know I like it when I come on here and find a new banger posted.

Re: bigtunes and CJ, I think CJ gets the tunes first, then they go up on bigtunes. Often CJ has ripped them from the artist's soundcloud. For some unexplainable reason with no basis in fact I feel like they're seperately run but supporting each other. I think the guy who does the CJ stuff is just an interested fan - he has a twitter link on there. Pure conjecture though.

seem to remember a facebook status from CJ that suggested they're working together in some capacity.

btw, got no objections to posting new bangers on here don't get me wrong. Maybe its better to just start posting the name of the tune and the link rather than embedding videos though, so many threads crash my browser these days. I say this as one of the biggest culprits in the past!

Following Benny's suggestion then, here's a new mix by Chris Gresswell:

It takes a while to get going but fully worth it when it does. Plenty of familiar tunes on there but also some hot new ones.

These cracker's from that mix:

Nice one, hope I didn't come across as too much of a tosser there. I'll try and give this Gresswell mix a listen tonight.

There's a new Hannah Wants been put up on CJ today btw

and these ones I just pinched off an ILX thread, yet more ace Lorenzo material. UK Dance music producer of the year? I've enjoyed maybe only Funkystepz more this year I think.

Money Can't Buy It - BDot & Lorenzo
!

Shake It - Shaun Banger Scott & Lorenzo

ooh and this one, so cold. Reminds me a lot of Ruffcut & Julius ‎– Smell Some Greens, an old dark 4x4 track on Locked On that i cant find on youtube unfortunately.

Pastel Pill - Louis Bailey & Danny El K

No not at all Benny.

Lorenzo's pretty tight...but I wonder how much creative input he's having on all these tunes? I thought he was mainly helping in some kind of mixing/mastering/engineering capacity.

Those tunes are all great btw. Having trouble placing the sampled tune for that Sean Banger Scott one, I want to say Millie Jackson (spent a lot of my early 20's making crap hip hop loops out of her records) - it sounds like the kind of 'rap' she might've put on an album. Anyone know for sure?

Lots of great stuff up on the Certified Jackin youtube channel, havn't checked it for a couple of weeks before today.

This is another bangaaaaaaa:

That one is great. Agree with the comment about Lorenzo being underground producer of the year. Almost single handedly populating an entire new genre.

Yeah, it was a major parr. I'm looking for another big one to go to soon though! And dissensisians ont?

I'd be up for going to one. I'm skint though so you'd have to pay. A or some Dissensians need to get to a Jackin' rave. We need a report from the ground!

On a different note, can someone help with a track ID from the latest Swagger mix from Cause n Affect? (which if you liked the Scarefest mix I would deffo recommend):
Here is the track I'd like to identify: Shadowchild (also known as Dave Spoon) plays a different version as the last track on his latest mix on Soundcloud. Would also love to know where the sample is from if it is indeed a sample.

Any help greatly appreciated!

Found it, took me a while of searching to remember it was on bigtunes that I'd first heard it:

Pete Graham and...what a surprise, Lorenzo - Angels.

The original is by The XX.

I'd also like to put a word in for Nick Hannam and his alias Neeko for making some of the best music around at the moment.

Cases in point:
The wobbly bangers:

Homeless

Thinking About You - Nick Hannam & Sweet Beat Cartel

The deep, dutty, rolling and often narc'd out ones (my favourites):

Square 17

Serious

You Want Me

Got You Baby

Neeko - People Outside - some nice finishing touches in the production of this one.

B.I.G In The Game - Neeko.

Case closed.

NATO: Big up ya chest for the B.I.G In The Game - Neeko ID
and Benny B for the Shake It ID.
Been DYING for those for a while.

It's been another sick week for Jackin:
On the dark- minimal -bubbly vybe: https://www.bigtunesmp3.co.uk/tunes/halloween-party-original-mix--by-bart-jack/
Also, I reckon this is pretty irrefutable proof of the donk influence.

Spooky business from MojoFluxx, with some brilliant/rubbish MCing on top
Great video too lol

Sleepin is Cheatin/Tom Zanetti's Eargasm is available from itunes now.

THIS just got released!!!!!!

IS THAT MARIJUANA!?!? http://www.bigtunesmp3.co.uk/tunes/is-that-marijuanabigtunes-exclusive-by-double-trouble-lorenzo/#3 great sample, watch for the ridiculous ///\\\ second drop.

That good organ/wobble/vocal real jackin shit!!! http://www.bigtunesmp3.co.uk/tunes/#/tunes/find-another-love-by-ellenyi-ryan-blyth/#

continuum: I can't get your ticket, but I can share drugs :)
Me and Jambie were thinking of going to whatever Sleepin is Cheatin are putting on for New Years. I reckon that could be life changing

ALSO: I heard Jackin on a proper club sound system for the first time since I've been following it. Friend of mine played Superstylin on my recommendation, obviously had to wheel it, obbbbviously sounded really, REALLY good.

ALSO: Agree re: Lorenzo being producer of the year. Sure there are always good tracks coming from London but on a macro-scene level I really can't see anything more exciting than Jackin coming out of the UK at the moment. Week on week it's producing more bangers/anthems than the 'UK Bass' has in maybe two years...

And unlike the post-stuff stuff it's not refined or self-aware.

Listening through to this Bdot mix from a couple of weeks ago and it's pretty damn good:

Lot's of bangers and quite a few new/unknown tunes in there as well.

Easy everyone! Shameless plus hurrr BUTT

http://www.innacityfm.com/ 102.5 FM on the spectrum! 6-8 this evening yours truly will be going in with nothing but that good Bigtunesmp3 FIYAH, straight Jackin/Bassline/UKB, no hipster house.

This one's gonna be special!! Why!?!?! because Jambie bailed and I can't find a replacement, so this is my first show on my ones and if no one locks IT'S GONNA BE REALLY LONELY #peak4me

No pressure or anything doe. Hope to see you there!

Sounds tempting. Let's find out what SIC are doing for NYE then make a decision.

Been listening to some of the Chris Gresswell tunes off the above mix on repeat loud. I'm living in a listed outhouse building at the moment which allows me to have the music turned right up and due to there being no insulation in the stone walls and there being a stone floor the acoustics are fucking wicked! The bass on this tune sounds especially good.

Not on the Chris Gresswell mix but recently uploaded by Cause n Affect is another big tune. Haven't heard it on the outhouse system yet but even on the headphones flipping heck. At first when the cheesy 70's sample starts you think 'Lorenzo has finally fell off' but then oh jeeeez. The spooky wooooooo ghost synthy sound is badman.

The good thing about this music is the recognisable samples. In an age when doing vocals can be a bit long, these outlandish samples are good.
