Gucci has been pretty solid in terms of talent he's been fostering.

You guys might know...

Who is this Casino guy who is on pretty much all the killer tracks on the last Future tape?

He's got a real good presents and killer energy to him and I can't find anything else with him as far as I can tell.

I'll have to keep an eye out for that one cheers. I'm playing catch up with Future. I played Astronaut Status to death last year so much so I didn't even cop the album or this tape until recently. He's killing it.

also, to go back in time a bit, i was listening to tylers goblin album last night and thought it was really boring lyrically - just like a teenage boy message board trolling for 60 minutes over (brilliant) neptunes inspired beats.

Oh man Trap Back 2 is so disappointing, seeing as the first one was quite good. Bit sad that Gucci has fallen off a bit, I think he's just spreading himself out too think lately with all these releases.

God I was enthusiastic in those days, I can see why Crowley went right off me cos I lost the good will to engage

Luka was totally over music at this point already lolll

2012 was good for RNB too – 'pyramids', 'adorn u', 'climax' etc.

i can't find the other rap thread

enjoying the new dalek over the past couple of days, i like the noise / industrial aspects of the beats unsurprisingly. find his rapping very hit or miss in general and a bit cheesy, frankly more miss than hit, generally quite a frustrating guy to listen to because of that.

but the basic formula works and on this one there's less and less of him, and more these sprawling industrial/noise beats, and for some reason his bars are convincing and don't have that cheese cringe that i often get from him.

i find this kind of odd weirdo hybrid thing compelling in general, where it's not mainstream but also not acclaimed by the real heads, there's a lot of action in those margins for me
