Once again, I'm not sure if this is the right place to place such a thing or even if it's viable for discussion on this site but:

I'm still learning.

Squarepusher made some of my favourite records of the late nineties but unfortunately he's put out a lot of annoying, samey shit, he comes across as a more-musicianly-than-thou wanker in interviews, his concepts are twee and annoying ("Shobaleader One", anyone? a real Stonehenge Moment), and his - technically brilliant i'm sure - frenetic bass guitar thing is a party trick that's cool once (a bit like being able to sing "Daisy, Daisy" using only burps) but tooth-grindingly awful after repeated exposure.

i'll listen to the clips of this when it comes out to satisfy and validate my prejudices, but i'm 99.9999% sure i won't be buying it.

disclaimer - obviously the guy has more creative talent in one or two of his pubes than i have in my entire body and soul, but still, i'm entitled to my bitter disappointment at what he's done with his career

The distribution of musical talent is irrelevant, if you think it's gonna be shit you should say so! I think this is gonna be shit

Think that's just a reference to a clip of Andre 3000 on the BBC's Culture Show during an interview with Squarepusher. I didn't think they were going to work together?
