A) I could set up an event thingy to discuss how, why, when and where on Google+ with just your email addresses. Once agreed on everything we could then open a facebook event page for everyone to pile into.

B) If we wanted to do the same on Facebook, set up a private group / event to work things out first, I would need your facebook URLs and have to add you all as friends first. That's long.

The trouble is we can't make an open event page on facebook and send the link without randoms being able to pile in after seeing we're attending on their newsfeed. Considering we don't know anything about the event yet it would be poor promo to have an event that constantly changes Location, Time and acts as we decide.

So which is it?
