Happy Accidents mix

I did another mix, inspired by the pleasures of finding random records. I hope people like it, feedback or questions welcome.

Bit of blurb - "The best records are those that you don't know you need until you find them. I like analogue, physical formats because of their ability to surprise you and deliver chance, serendipity and surprises. This is a little mix to celebrate that - it consists of records I've found out and about. "IRL", in the last year or so. I only knew two of the records featured before picking 'em up. As such, it's pretty eclectic and all over the shop, but that's part of the charm, I hope. I also did this mix to prove (to myself as much as anyone) that you can build up a decent - too strong a word? - well, FUN collection on the cheap. Nothing here was over £6 and most were well below it. I hope you have as much fun listening as I did finding 'em."

Nice. When you played that Algiers - Blood thing before to me it didn't quite click but suddenly it's all come together and I recognise it as just the right mix of dusty gospel-soul and dubby beats. Although I didn't actually catch the lyrics and suspect they're not really religious or anything.
Do you know anything about the Temple of Solomon thing? When's that from?

Remember when we were out together and I bought that weird jazz LP from Harold Moore's with the situationist cover? It's from that. It's a a french LP from a couple of years ago, apparently a lot of the effects are done with analogue electronics and vacuum tubes.

I think when you are out looking for "finds" deliberately, my ears are a little bit more open, so I'm likely to get excited about things. I'm sure this results in me being over-excited sometimes, about stuff that really doesn't merit it. But not in that case, I think.

Edit: Just had a look, it's Finnish. I like the rest of it, but that is the track.
