Lizatron for International Women's Day on East Side Radio (Lisbon)

As you should most certainly be well aware, last Friday was International Women's Day and East Side Radio asked Liza Tron of Invisible City to come in and do an appropriately rocking - not to mention female - set for them. As always she dug deep and wide so the final result features sixties space pop nestled up against acid new beat, classic London punk neatly (and angrily) slots in next to hot-off-the-presses releases from their spiritual descendants and there are curveballs in the form of Canadian garage rock and grinding but off-kilter German electro. And each tune is united by a common theme - every one of them is an absolute killer! Oh and they are made by women....
