The gays used to be cool but now they've got their own marks and spencer sandwich. The pavements in Canary Wharf and the square mile are painted rainbow. Graham Norton is their figurehead. A terrible fall from grace.

If I was a gay I'd want to be speaking in code, shooting cryptic hand siganals to rent boys.

The gays have been undermined I feel sorry for them. Another sweet underground violently outed.

Poor old gays. The best subculture back in the day totally wiped out. Subcultural capital demolished.

Everyone wanted to be gay back then. Now it's like being a home owner in Surbiton. Volvo driver. Waitrose shopper.

I think we can all agree we must crush the gays

I don't personally advocate genocide. Me personally, I'm very much a live and let live guy but let it be out on the record that patty wants to wipe our gay brethren out. I'm very much opposed to genocide and I hope everyone can draw a line between what I am saying and pattys terrible intolerance.

I'm just saying it's not cool anymore. I don't want a single gay to die or to suffer in the slightest, not even an insult, not even a dirty look. I don't endorse pattys intolerance at all. I want to make that very clear. I'm horrified.

Some of my best friends are gay. I don't treat them any differently from a 'normal'

Patty has his reasons I'm sure, a religious background, Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve, there's differences of opinion. But I think we shou,d be free to love whoever we want to. That's my personal standpoint.

I'm glad you deleted that patty cos that was really beyond the pale. I'm not easily offended but that was seriously wrong. I don't think they should be chemically castrated mate, sorry but no. They have every right to a happy fulfilled sex life in my personal opinion.

The terrible truth was 99% of the gays were square. Like anyone else. Only the sexual preference was different. Let them have a Volvo and a marks and Spencer's sandwich they would have never invented house music. Was just oppression that gave them magic powers. Interesting. Now they are as boring as everyone else.

Do you think there is value in drugs being illegal for this reason? I've often thought that if I didn't take drugs I'd never really be doing anything illegal and I might have never questioned the notion of legality and criminal justice as much as I have (a paltry amount).

In a similar way, perhaps there's value in gay people having been alienated from the *norm* of marriage with 2.4 children. Culturally, I mean. Burroughs was perhaps the coolest gay ever (right?), alienated on the twin basis of his gayness and drug addictions. And when you think of how he was born into an aristocratic family in the South and went to Harvard, alienation is perhaps what made him.

This is all cultural stuff of course and I am in favour of whatever is least painful for people. Happiness writes white though and all that.

Not saying smoking weed makes me less of a conformist drone in my behaviour but the fact that you smoke it and realise it's no more dangerous than booze (in fact less dangerous) and yet booze is legally sanctioned is an indicator that something is up with legality overall.

gayness is surrogate blackness.

like 'the blacks', the 'gayers' are all inexplicably in great shape, they can all dance, they can dress however they like and do it well and they have pattycakes-style soul.
