It's nice, they'll like it. Good pubs, new arts cinema by the station, rolling countryside all around, sea's a few miles away, ferry to France from Newhaven, Brighton's nearby. Loads of shops. A bit like Hampstead plonked on the Downs. I get the sense it's a greying town though. I'm 46 and feel young when I visit there.

Newton Abbot. Affordable, beaches and moors close by, and still plenty of excitement.

Or at least, it's widely known as the car-crime capital of the South West, which amounts to the same thing in my book.

the county lines stuff will turn every small town in the UK into a crime ridden desperate dystopia soon so might as well stay in London
