Unintentionally funny ass shit

Some of my most cherished cultural artefacts are Charlie Boorman helmed TV series that aren't intended to be comedies but are. For example, Long Way Round, with Ewan McGregor, doesn't acknowledge that Charlie B is a failed actor whose best mate is one of the most successful actors in the world, and never openly addresses the seething resentment that you just KNOW this must cause in Boorman, demonstrably one of the most useless people in existence.

Also they're BOTH idiots, and many of their teammates are either idiots or cunts.

Also I love the Lord of the Rings movies. In the case of these, the love is far from exclusively ironic, but there is a lot of unintentional comedy in it, because it's often so pompous and humourless.
