I've seen it described as a torus which invites the fringe to attack the centre. It wants to be attacked as it's just more fuel it can guzzle and allows it to reassert itself.

Sounds confusing. Maybe capitalism is 'Reality'?

How would you go about scrapping reality? Let's do that.

The focus on capitalism has always felt far too narrow and time bound to me. Fundamentally unambitious.

Can it be reality if other areas of the world have been socialist, communist etc?
But this is what I meant by axiomatic. Taken as read. Capitalism IS everywhere and everything. This is the first rule and cannot be challenged. It's fundamental.
Asking that kind of question is like debating a high level maths question by asking if we agree on how to count to ten.
I strongly disagree with this approach.

who voted keep it? cos i'm assuming barty (who's never had a job he once said) and idlerich (who's on a permanent holiday in portugal) are among the four who did. i'd be interested in the other two.

Where's option 4: "cybernetically accelerate it until it literally creates Cthulhu"?

Corpsey would have almost certainly voted keep it too. He gets really wound up by strident left wing opinions and reacts against them in a knee jerk way.
