Multitasking juggler meets 1/1000 randomness. Thinking about French labels and a raft of names and melodies started flowing (too many) straddling either side of the millennium - Versatile, Kemetic Just’s better bits on French labels, Point G, Jeff K/Silver Network, Adults Only, Brawther - from a pile near the attic stairwell, others scattered in among the unsorted
Been teaching, eating, taking calls and then this ear worm started where you can’t recall the specifics. Something K, something French. Let the iPad play through a couple of playlists, no joy sad face (hate that brain fail)
Phone put down for a minute. Go back to analogue attic search. Stare blindly. Walk to random pile thinking fuck it. AND I FOUND IT......Kermit Sources - Play, optimal balance of steady beats/groove, vocal work, harmonics and spatial glow (YT’s is a bit slow)
