the most embarrassing moment of my life was when I was about 13 years old. everyone had to take a music class, even if you had no interest or talent, so it was basically a bogus class that few kids took seriously. I was horsing around in the back of the room, and the teacher got pissed off and as punishment made me stand in the front of the class and sing "Wichita Lineman" all by myself. I think I made it through about one verse before the teacher took pity on me. still traumatized whenever I hear that song, which is actually great but ruined forever in my mind.
