Maybe it's just lockdown paranoia, but it feels as though there've been next to no clouds since air travel was curtailed. Have we just had a nice bout of weather or is there something more to it?

I've been wondering the same. Possible lack of cloud nucleation feedstock now there's so much less road and air traffic?

I've definitely seen stretches of cloudless days before, but it feels as though I haven't seen more than the odd wisp in weeks.

i do think it has something to do with corona as well, but on the other hand the weather seems to be identical to that of last year. when spring started overnight and the sun didn't stop shining for months. personally i love it but i can see how lack of rain will cause problems. also, i don't think i have seen that many stars as i have the last couple of weeks.

It's been warm enough today that it felt like my foot was burning through my sock when I stood in the light coming through the landing window.

its extremely warm and yes, less clouds, it was hazt here yesterday, but usually been big nice fluffy ones, which are cool. yeah if we get a good summer (like 2018 type one) this could be it i reckon. but i don't wanna jinx it.

There's been haze every single day. No crystal clear ones. Not in London anyway can't speak for Withershall (version) or Chesham (catalog)

'It' is the next summer of love. I was calling it the 4th summer of love, but it might be fifth.

1st summer = 1967
2nd summer = 1976
3rd summer = 1988

Was there one in the 90s?

So I think that's it, so 2018 should've been the 4th, but it rained a bit, and Brexit, so we don't have it.

So maybe 2020

It needs to be really stinking hot, that's really critical. So hot that you get sick of it. And no rain for a 40 day stretch.
