the former member of Husker Du passed away a few years ago without much public recognition of his life , influence and legacy. Some of his final work was arguably his best imo and even better than his famous works

I like Husker Du, but I don't think I've heard anything any of them did outside of the band.

I used to love bob mould, that band sugar. Great band. But never heard of this guy.

bob mould is also a huge pro wrestling fan, used to write story lines for WCW.

husker du are the loudest band I ever saw, in the back room at Maxwell's (capacity: 120). it was like a sheen of white noise, could rarely make out which song they were even playing.

the stereotyping was that Grant was the more pop inclined of the two whereas Bob Mould was the one who made all the intense soulbearing songs(likely because he was still in the closet at the time) granted this doesn't hold up to well cause Grant did write "Diane", Pink turnes to blue and Turn on the news so it's not so simple
