Apple is more circumspect: “I would never say ‘UK funky’s back’... We’re on a different wave now.” He made his new ‘Bongoclart’ EP on that same Sony Vaio from 2005, this time inspired by a new sound. “The boys over South Africa, the amapiano producers... I’ve just got that feeling of 2006 again.”

I dunno which tunes are new, but it's still the classics like Sirens and Apple's old stuff that stand out. Enjoyed the mix overall too though.

Me too. I heard tunes i knew by apple, champion, invasion records, hardhouse banton, Roska. I could probably do a tracklist. Might have been 1 or 2 I didnt know
 
Lol it's better than trying to call it uk funky 2.0 or something equally as shit

One of the MCs will say something and it'll stick. I know they keep calling it afro but hopefully something better comes along when the clubs are back

I like it when the MCs refer to it as "the upper echelons". You hear that quite a bit
