I had some monkey nuts the other day which I enjoyed but you end covered in debris.

other nut butters
yeah they're alright but definitely not worth the expense. cashew is too sweet for my taste. been forever since I had almond.

peanuts are also a more sustainable crop than some of the other nuts, almonds for sure with the incredible water usage required

and they're a top nitrogen-fixer in crop rotation

Another important question is whether you butter your toast before adding peanut butter. I assumed everyone did but this is not so

With the butter, which melts of course, you get a very oily fatty sensual experience.
Bit too dry and life denying otherwise. I tried it just for curiosity's sake

the Puritans fled to get away from exactly that kind of sensuous decadence

and to forbid people from enjoying themselves in basically any way, it's true

but in this case they were right

that sounds like an extremely 1950s thing v Wonderbread

tho I've never heard of anyone putting mayonnaise on toast which sounds insane, on sandwiches ofc

I've seen it on sandwiches with toasted bread I guess, but never just on a piece of toast by itself

if you get toast at a diner it will automatically come with butter or some butter analog, usually individual jam packets as well

buttering untoasted bread is more of a restaurant only thing to me

I actually can't recall the last time I ate butter, it has to have been years

but I'm not exemplary of American butter usage

ive received disinformation hmmm. But bread they would use mayonaisse. That bit is true at least? As the moistening agent. What do you use as a rejector of mayonaisse
