In all seriousness though it's worth a shot. The first music of my own I ever put out into the world, the music that led to me getting to do soundtracks for exhibitions and an advert for a charity, was made on 10 Lite. You can definitely do some good and interesting things with it.

I can't use Ableton, but I've been playing about in Reaper recently.

Never really worked with anything thats meant to organize other software like it is. Reaper was always having me open up FL and have them communicate and at that point it is, yes, hard and boring. Never really been Interested in making electronic music though so thats probably where functions like that come in handy.

You can just use Reaper. You don't have to use it in conjunction with anything, although some people just use it for mixing.

I had trouble finding VSTs I liked and organizing out tracks. Aimlessly clicking around always lead to opening up outside stuff. I'm not knocking reaper I was letting the world know Im a horrible quitter
