You can tell if someone is a hedonist if they like boring house. That's the test. If you like boring house, not exciting house, boring generic house, house house, that means you are hedonist and you just want to go clubbing all night on drugs.

I think i agree with this tbh. my definition of house includes boogie and synth punk obscurities that got played in chicago and new york. so not really 'house-house-house'

Woops also is from the britpop scene but he's not interested in drugs at all. Quite a few of my peers here are from the britpop scene.

so the takeaway from this thread is that heathenism is actually really boring, without an ocean of drugs from trust fund to swim in.

a question jeck opel and 2004-08 dissensus expended reams upon reams on prose on, and we've conclusively answered it in less than 2 hours. thirdform masterclass. great game chaps, Davis coming off the bench really injected the high octane attack with the necessary risk taking.

@chava

this one is vaguely tolerable i guess, pretty sure this was on digweed's plate. absolutely generic and boring as fuck though, would never playit in a mix. as soon as this kind of stuff comes on in a club i go straight for a fag break. if a dj plays a whole set of this i tell his girlfriend to dump him and come to my house for speedcore and harsh noise den haag acid parties.

i like my loops to be monastic and austere. like the soundtrack to a bunch of french protestants waging war against the krauts. pure machine kink. none of that let's try and sound like disco. you're french, french people only get disco when thomas bangalter is involved.

@luka agrees, all music should sound like this. the joy of being focused like a military tactition. become so austere you can see through the clear light.

it's tolerable, maybe because it's slower and almost wallpaper-like generic. Ambient house if ambient was taken literally.
