This unreleased Muslimgauze track made in 1985

The drums the track is built on weren't available until 86 and the sample used in this is most likely taken from Raw which is also from 86, but Twitch told me he had no reason to doubt what Bryn had told him so 🤷‍♂️

Charanjit Singh's "Ten Ragas to a Disco Beat" got all the hype, but I reckon this 1983 Bollywood acid techno is way madder:
That's pretty great, but the arpeggiated synth bassline sounds a lot like a slower version of the one in this Pink Floyd track, from a decade earlier:

I would dismiss this as Villalobos influenced minimal techno featuring generic house chords with a bit of Detroit / Red Planet styled jazz noodling thrown in towards the end.. but it's from 1980..
