Temple of Doom is the best one because it's the only one I watched a child and the images still haunt me.

Raiders and Last Crusade are, but there's something lacking about Temple of Doom. I'm not saying it's bad or that I don't watch it, but I'm not that arsed about it and it's at the bottom of my list when I decide to rewatch any of them.

Fair enough, but it does have the best chase scene of all times. And chilled monkey brains!

The Ark of the Covenant's surely the best artifact he goes after, even the Holy Grail seems boring by comparison. Raiders has that incredibly tantalising scene at the end with the warehouse full of mystery objects and that haunting theme too.

Fitting, that the archivist would appreciate this scene.

Wasn't Scientology vehicle Battlefield Earth pretty much universally rubbished? I.e. pretty much everyone thought it was without any redeeming features, including any kind of kitsch appeal that might otherwise have rendered it "so bad it's good", or ironically enjoyable, or anything like that.
