Googie (and related style and design)

Previously I'd been talking about space age male fashion, someone suggested this which... well, I can't believe that a lot of people here will like this but I actually love it.



Saw this which looks the same sort of thing, but is actually a really heavy leather motorcycle jacket. Sadly too small for me or I would have bought it.

Let's talk some designers, Luigi Colani was German or maybe Austrian I think and he came up with all kinds of stuff, but particularly space age furniture and vehicle often inspired by the shapes of sea creatures - although i think people have questioned the maths behind some of his supposedly aerodynamic car designs.

I say who cares though, they look great
