A decent grime vocal fucking hell; thpught those days were long gone.

The 2nd verse is too much.

Goodness!

War is another good Merky Ace one but the full rip keeps getting taken down. Hopefully on his next release.

Anyone check Trim's set on Rinse from the 25th? Kind of out the loop with this shit, but there's some brilliant instrumentals, especially in the first half. Trim goes in of course.

Would love some IDs or any producers to check.

I agree with that point about Merky...he's sick. Really bringing that passion and hunger back to the scene. Seems like a safe guy too.

All about pride and egos
Yea.

What scene would you say had a brilliant year?

I'm not really comparing grime's output to anything else other than grime's previous output. Although though I imagine sales are increasingly never what they used to be, creatively I've been pretty happy with what American hip hop has had to offer this year. A friend of mine assures me dancehall has had a pretty great year as well in terms of activity, and house has done alright as well I'm told, although it usually does.

Grime this year just seemed to put forward very little at all, and whenever there was something, it wasn't that good, or exciting. I really hope 2012 is better. I'd hate to see grime die out creatively, especially when there is so much promising young talent that could keep the dice rolling.
