Bumped, as I binned most of them previously but kept hold of a few, which I'm now going to get rid of unless anyone wants:

Melody Maker - '93 to '97

Wire - '95 - '97

Muzik - '95 - '99

and some other stuff like Trace/True/Straight No Chaser/Eternity ...

I'll even deliver them to you if you're in London! Just thought I should let people on here know just in they were interested.

All the music mags have gone :(

I feel a bit sad about the Wires and especially the Melody Makers - some good writing in there, especially Reynolds, Kulkarni, Parkes, Eshun, Cole etc. But hey, you can't hold on to everything I suppose.

I'm still umming and aahing about getting rid of the 2000Ads, I'll keep you posted!

I used to like Jockey Slut and Melody Maker (before it went glossy, of course.)

It's funny coz alot of the writers try to appeal to teenage emotions and write about the bands like some sort of teenage crush. Then you read them 10 years later and those feelings aren't there anymore, especially when you LISTEN, and you say 'what the fuck was I thinking??'

Everett True is the perfect example.

Not so much the writing as the fact that a lot of music/scenes I like have passed over, and a lot of the boring shit (like oasis imho) is still hanging around.
