Another idea would be passing-the-tape version - one person records their mix, posts it of to someone, who listens, reviews and writes about it (on a blog, say - possibly ripping for posterity) and then makes a new tape, and posts it to the next person on the list. All involved get to follow the progession of music on the blog as tapes are sent back and forth across the world..

love tape awap clubs. i've organised a few before, but sadly they tended to fall appart after a few rounds of sending. maybe that's becuase we had them arranged in a very linear system - we had a loop set up so you'd alwyas be sending onto the same next person in the line, and one week link meant that the whole thing stalled.
Still if we can devise a better system i'd be happy to help organise it.

must admit I sent mine out a day late...but I haven't got my one yet! tho it sounds like I shouldn't be worried what with all these tardiness confessions....If I'd known we'd all be slack I woulda spent longer on the cover, cos I didn't do anything exciting at all (shame).
