The best way to preserve the human is by learning how to emulate the posthuman, and anticipate its ontology, its behavior.
A world guided by what we think of as artificial intelligence would not be near the optimal trajectory, it seems. I'm beginning to think that tech could very well advance to near infinity so long as the human remains as its heart. The human must, perhaps, remain the nucleus of the post-human, or else the latter would not subsist. A transhuman symbiosis... if you will.
The posthuman, at heart, dependent upon the human, and the human, at the organs around the heart, dependent on the posthuman? They begin to float up lockstepping spirals.
