auckland, help!

i know, more tourist advice....
but this is a last minute thing. I'm off to new zealand on thursday and thought i was spending most time there in wellington; turns out i'm not! auckland mainly, but not had time to research anything- any suggestions would be greatly received-- anyone???

theres a really nice fast food outlet at the top of ayr street sort of thing, its called something like al and petes or something.

thats east auckland. its fun to go to rangitoto and waitakai. in the summer theres lots of nice free music events in the parks. theres some nice beers and some nice skunk. its a great place to be.
