clarence g is a real record though, it's a sort of hip house vocal version of 'the countdown has begun' by Jame stinson and other tracks. It seems like they only list stuff that sold for at least 20 GBP.
What do you all make of the fake auctions that reportedly take place. It just doesn't make any sense to me. For example there's the story of the fake Clarence G (early work by Drexciya member) auction that closed at $5400. That means the fee was enormous...probably around $100. Does it really drive up the price people are willing to pay? Just doesn't seem worthwhile.
Rumours on discogs...yeah, not much. But apparently these fake auctions aren't uncommon. Or so they say. That's why I am doubting it. Just doesn't seem worthwhile.I think he is saying that the auction was fake not the record. I'd be interested to know what makes you think it was fake though - simply the price?
