Straight off the back of April Bank Holiday’s “Thugs & Hugs 1”, which saw the ever ready Sinden and On The Brink Recordings (home to Milan’s fidget-house-meets-Dilla-hip-hop Crookers) smash it to a rammed Legion, DJ Gigolo “The Mixx” Knight and Patchwork Pirates’ jamalam returns with an even bigger FREE party.
Straight from Philly comes Bo Bliz bringing his “White T’s White Belts” dance jam to London. Hyped as the one of the city’s craziest warehouse parties and the natural successor to Diplo and Low Budget’s now defunct “Hollertronix” events (check www.myspace.com/whitetshirts or www.myspace.com/drinkmoloko_ny for proof) “White’s T’s…” makes it’s London debut. Joining Bo Bliz, Gigolo and Pirates are the grumped up ZombieDiscoSquad boys and design maestro and hip hop fiend Smutlee. As they say – gully, gutter hip hop, Baltimore club, riddim ‘n’ bounce, electro, juke and Miami bass – stripper club fun for all the family. No big deal.
