yeah so i wasnt entirely comfortable with playing it either, we talked about it beforehand and i'd planned to my own radio edit but didnt make the time. i wouldnt play it in a club like that either.

my personal take is i'm a bit numb to the use of that word - hearing it anymore times isnt going to turn me into a homophobe - but i guess that doesnt apply to everyone.

I barely even notice it anymore, and wouldn't have commented but the atmosphere well changed in the room I was in after it came on, and then I was subjected to one of 'those' debates, I wasn't gonna comment but it built up in me, mainly cos I got ag from my mates so I thought I'd give it back to you rather than carrying it around .

*to tactics* what i was saying was a bit more subtle than that.

Well I know what it's in reference to but I wouldn't presume to guess at what point was being made by a weirdly convoluted rhetorical question followed by an assumed response from the reader. No big deal, it just bugged me by being apparently opinionated yet not at all clear. If that is it, and not meaning to get in to a debate, then for starters there's obviously a difference in usage of words and in who is using them.

Anyway - back to the regularly scheduled gorgonzola-step programming.

There's an argument with respect to general references to criminality and violence and why advocating violence against gays is worse than advocating violence against rival rappers and so on.
