To those who've heard any of this: has he shifted his sound at all? Or is it all in the vein of the ghost hardware ep?

Ach!

Turd on the Run
'Archangel' and 'Etched Headplate' - sound like references to Metalheadz.

'Endorphin' - will it be the ghosted template of the groundbreaking track by Skycap of the same name?

I just dont know
the track blackdown played was amazing. very similar in terms of submerged garage shuffle and strong emotion, but much more uplifting than his previous stuff. had a sort of twisting vocoded (i think) vocal

cant wait for the LP

What's the release date for this? Are the Pinch and Burial albums coming out on the same day, like some dubstep Fiddy vs Kanye/ Blur vs Oasis?

bit disappointed when I saw title of thread, thought it was going to be something like Burial is untrue in the sense that 'Burial' had been exposed as a front for Trevor Horn (like in the 80s when the 'rare groove' track Roadblock was found to have been put out by Stock Aitken & Waterman).

i know it was on box of dub, but it's a shame "unite" isn't on here. It's my favourite buriaul tune, it's the perfect soundtrack to being miserable.

Ghosts of my life
Archangel sounded so good at fwd...some twisted mirror-world male r'n'b vocal going on in that one.

a wonderful wooden reason
I am totally opposed to the cipation of this record.

It's not even on there but the space conjured up by Stairwell is so vivid it's almost like some kind of sonic magic-eye.

And yeah Unite is wicked as well. Very pleasing how the transition from low-fi soft focus to crisp Logistics has not been to the detriment of the atmospherics.

interesting that he just made unite with logic and then went back to the old ways. I really can't wait for this album, i think i might pre-order it and i've never done that before haha.

Burial: Yeah. I think it promised something, but if you listened to it, it didn't really get there

I'm really glad he said this, I always felt there was something missing that would make me truely love the album.

Now I cant wait for this.
