Sick Boy

All about pride and egos
pretty much sums up everything I think's gone wrong over the last year or so in a well marketed, neat little package

Elaborate?

It's odd that it's mostly grime, but the grime selection is pretty up to scratch IMO. What I find weird is how it totally doesn't represent what Geeneus actually plays in clubs.

Elaborate?

it's pure prejudice. geeneus has become a kind of cartoon villain for me in this music, mostly because of the sets he plays in clubs, the vibe I get from them, and the kind of direction he's pushing. like you say, that's not all that's on offer here, but there's enough of that vibe to remind me of why I dislike it so much.

Let's Talk About Ceps
By the description, I'd be expecting something not a million miles away from the first King Crimson album...is this at all the case, Vim?

Don't really know King Crimson, unfortunately.

Ahh, the first record's a classic. Proper way-out-there metal-before-it-was-metal prog-stoner-doom-rock interspersed with, er, improv jazz. Worth owning for the cover art alone:

(sadly, I only have it on all-too-compact disc)

Ah, I recognise the cover. Sounds like my kind of thing, yeah.
