2007: The positive side of globalization-- bass culture and musical heritage fuse; ultra-modern riddims meet the wealth of local flavors; irresistable next-level urban dance music arise on every continent. India, Cuba, Tanzania, Egypt, Cape Town, these are just a few destinations where wild styles are born and crucial new scenes thrive - places out of reach to most. NGOMA ambassadors of funk bring the heat from party hotspots across the known world - the wickedest beats and sweetest flows.

NGOMA navigates wild terrain, connects the dots, traces a golden thread that runs through them all, and creates unforgettable experiences on the dance-floor. Sex, love, and a profound sense of sweaty, blissful unity, NGOMA represents an all encompassing groove which knows no boundaries. Forget post modernism, NGOMA is the crazy sound of now.

yes mister, London is very high up on my list of possible migration destinations for next year... :) but if all goes super well, i hope to be taking this party on the road... maybe UK would be interested...

but before that i am officially inviting you to berlin!

there will be another one of these parties in december...

This looks great zhao, I really wish you the best with this. If I were in Berlin, this is a party I wouldn't miss! International Booty Bass (c) all the way.

Hope it goes super well, and maybe "the road" can include Mexico too.

yeah good to see you sat night you bastard! :D not as much of a turn out as i expected, but i s'ppose that just meant ample room for the freaks that WERE there to get freaky. such an honor to have africans bigup the set with so much enthusiasm... Latif tells me they were all tripping out about this chinese kid spinning afro-boomboom :D but seems i always get to play about 1/10 of what i have in mind (didnt get to the middle east fire at all!) but thats what next time is for...

next party is slated for December 29th. if all goes as planned will be held at this place.

no grime?

Latif actually really wants some grime. he loves it :D but so far the idea of NGOMA is no music from Europe or America.

but i am actually working on a special 140 BPM set for the 4 - 6 AM hardcore. which will be mostly Kuduro and other tweaked out banging stuff, loads of non-dubstep that sounds like dubstep, a little bit of actual dubstep, and yes, i will for SURE put some grimey love in there.

4 AM is a good time to forget anything resembling a concept... :)

(i have to get my ex to send me all those grime CDs you hooked me up with... i forgot to pack them for some stupid reason )

Wow, if nights are judged on the number of pretty girls in attendance... success!
