Anyone know of a car hire company that will let me pick up a car in Croatia and drop it off again in Italy?

can anyone who's driven across America let me know the cheapest way of picking up a car on one coast and dropping it off on the other.

if you don't have a tight deadline of WHEN you have to leave, get a drive-away car... they usually go East to West... like if someone moves, you drive their car... or if old people are flying to Arizona for the winter, you'd drive their car there... i've done it twice.. it's ok...
