Low Motion records is proud to announce the impending release of our second 12"-- Sub Swara's deep anthem "Koli Stance," backed with Sharmaji and DJ's Boos' dancefloor scorcher "Skank Ethics." It should be in all good record shops on October 27th, with digital distribution to follow via InGrooves a month following.

Drawing on Sub Swara's hi-vibration/lo-frequency aesthetic, "Koli Stance," taken from their debut CD Coup d'Yah (LMCD002) has been rinsed by DJs around the world, from Maryanne Hobbes and Bobby Friction & Nihal (BBC Radio 1) to Kid Kameleon (XLR8R magazine), and everyone in between. Blackdown, in his monthly column for Pitchfork.com, raves that it's "a master class in swirling subcontinental tablas and warping dubstep bass." It has also been featured in DJ Spooky's new book/CD package "Sound: Unbound," available through MIT press.

On the flip, "Skank Ethics" has become an NYC dancefloor staple, appearing on the Dub War 001 podcast alongside such dubstep dons as Rusko and Peverelist. An instant-classic reggae riff that mutates into something far more nasty, it features turntablist antics and additional drum programming by DJ Boo of the Juggaknots. It was featured on Sharmaji's mix for Art of Beatz Radio last year, and vocal version will also be appearing on Juakali's upcoming EP.

look for it in two weeks and grab it while you can! LMR001 sold out in a just 15 days!
