Mine just said HUMANITY WON’T BE HAPPY TILL THE LAST CAPITALIST IS HUNG WITH THE GUTS OF THE LAST BUREAUCRAT.

Dunno what to make of that.

Very interesting. I'm a little surprised by my own results. Not the left leaning part but the "libertarian" part.

Left a bit...left a bit...right a bit...yeah, just there. Aaaah...

Edit: what do you know, bottom left for Mr. Tea. To be honest, I'd be pretty surprised to see any regulars here not end up in this quadrant, given that many of the questions basically amount to "Are companies more important than people?", "Would you describe Jesus as a close personal friend?" or "Should we hang all the queers?".

I thought this was quite interesting as well as their take on the schtick that left and right are now out of date categories:

In fact that whole page is pretty good - http://www.politicalcompass.org/extremeright

See also the chart showing Labour's general tendency to be on the authoritarian right with the exception of 72 and 82 (with their "longest suicide note in history" manifesto).

I am a boring:

Economic Left/Right: -8.62
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.85

I agree - plus this was sent round a couple of years ago wasn't it? But still, I am

Economic Left/Right: -5.62
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -6.97

Apparently.

Hmmm looks from that previous thread like I am still creeping towards the right and authoritarianism.

Very slowly.

Well extremism never solved anything, did it? I think what the world needs is a new generation of milquetoast centrist politicians with slogans like "Why can't we all just get along?".
