Those Ghettophiles tracks are great, particularly the DJ Earl, DJ Manny and Jody Breeze eps.
The most excited i've been about new music for a long time :D

omg, Sade juke. i'm so happy right now.

haha, i thought the same thing. In fact, I thought for years someone should just go ahead and make a Sade footwork track. The entire time, Jody went ahead and made that hilarious shit, hahaha.

It's an amazing track though!!!

nice stuff. however i am aware of this older sade footwork track - shoddy imeem quality but it's one of my favorites.

Soooo, I'll get to the few things I haven't had the time to respond to since my marriage.

You neglected the Dissensus juke thread for that?? Get your priorities right son

Seriously tho, congratulations, and big up for the Bleep releases :)

Neema - do you plan on putting any of the new digital-only Ghettophiles stuff onto wax? I've been getting the best digital stuff and putting it onto dubplate, so if you're planning on putting out some vinyl, I'd rather wait than shell out loads of money to get them cut.

I'm pretty excited about this. It's in the finishing stages right now. It will be called "Bangs & Works Vol 1" and feature: RP Boo, Traxman, DJ Clent, DJ Elmoe, DJ Rashad, Tha Pope, DJ Trouble, DJ Roc, DJ Spinn, DJ Killa E, DJ Yung Tellem, DJ Lil Rome, DJ Diamond & DJ Nate. I've managed to find all the artists and get a lot of the tracks I wanted, and more, so there will probably be a Vol 2.

Each producer promotes their 'crew/squad' to me so I've discovered quite a few 'new' producers including a female footwork producer. And there are a few ppl I'd like to have included but they just longed out on sending me trax...

Actually, I plan on putting some of these releases on wax. For example, the DJ Manny EP wil be combined with an upcoming DJ Spinn album. I've got 2 Rashad albums in the work. One is a full blown 10 track LP, the other is 4 tracks featuring Rashad and King AG (footworker), and will have remixes by a few big dubstep/uk funky folk out around y'alls parts. I'd say names, but we've definitely got a looooong way to go before I want to get any credit.

But out of these tracks, which ones would y'all like to hear more of?

id like to buy some juke mix cds. comps are cool but this stuff seems to really come alive in mixes (then again i prob dont need to buy any as i have quite a few that ive downloaded, but still some sort of official juke mix like say, the unruly club classics one i have for bmore stuff would be cool). cant wait for the v/a juke comp next year though.

this is a lot of fun in the meantime -
