but i would have thought that Hessle is too deep for my cardigans? too bashy for Hessle imo

I just dont know
it's interesting that you wait till after we book you to start sending for us

i see your game, very cunning

they don't call me Long Term aka the D'arkive for nuffink, i did give you guys warning early on. now that i have had my payoff the elgato you knew is no more, its gonna be all cheeky jibes and cardigan-related humour from here on in i'm afraid

it was fun, nice little sweatbox ,but the soundsystem was terrible, lots of pretty girls, but lots of smelly beery blokes who tried aimlessly to pull and couldn't dance, god girls show men up so badly sometimes.
Who ever was on before kode 9 was the opitome of what's gone wrong with dubstep. Especially the cunt screaming orders down the mic. The guy playing garagey bits after was good though.

lots of nice blokes there too though

was a shame about the sound - MMM had sorted extra sound for it but I think the venue gave them grief at the last minute and they couldn't bring it in

yeah me too but not those guys, i just don't like being shouted at, over oppressive music.

Yes i've heard it's hard to get things off the ground at that venue.
A friend promoted something a while back and moved from there which is a shame.
That little downstairs room is perfect if the system only held up.

edit: just noticed the last guy was you mr ufo: enjoyed what you played :)

yeah i went upstairs and had a sit down during that, not my thing either - there was someone upstairs playing some really good shuffly tech house stuff

glad you liked it, did you stay for long?

yeah thru k9s set and into some of yours, i was with my lady, who looked like she was gonna up and leave when we came into the fray during the true tiger set, but soon got on the floor when kode started dropping more funky bits and pieces.
His sets are more and more rhythmic, but avoiding more overt garage influences, which is good to see, like the gap between what's good about grime and dubstep is easily negotiated with funky.

I just dont know
that room could be one of the best clubbing spaces in London to dance in if they got better sound down there

had an extremely enjoyable night

yeah the sound was a shame, the tunes and the people made up for it though so its all swings and roundabouts :) bruk set was allot of fun! proper danceable stuff being dropped. ben on form of course as well as kode 9 playing a pretty decent set.

Thanks to all who came down thought it was a good night. Was pretty worried about the sound system after our first event, but thought it held up a lot better this time round.

Well enjoyed some of the upstairs sets, and what i caught of Bruk. Enjoyed True Tiger too- wish they played some more of their garage and grime stuff though! Kode9 & SpaceApe were real big, massive big ups Ben UFO- wicked stuff!

lots of smelly beery blokes who tried aimlessly to pull and couldn't dance

dissapointing to hear my dancing wasnt up to standard
