New House / Funky Mix

Like a proper British expat I have refused to assimilate into the local culture, and am instead trying to demonstrate the inherent superiority of my own. So I made a Funky mix. And then I stuck some other House related tunes in, to ensure that my analogy makes no sense at all. Some of the mixing is a bit suspect, but overall it's pretty banging. Recorded on two 1210's and Serato if anyone cares.

Most of the stuff on here will be old news to Dissensus regulars, but that's the price one pays for being on the cutting edge of culture I'm afraid.

Sorry, meant to leave you a comment on this - listened to the stream when you linked it on your Twitter, and really enjoyed it. Think you mix the funky with the other house well. Will prob d/l and have another listen when I've got some more time on my hands tomorrow.

Is it not? That's a bit embarrassing, I really hate downloading untagged mixes. As you say, they always get lost in the great misc MP3 pile. Glad you liked it anyway. Hope this one meets your approval as well.

Jack: I've got the MP3 of holograph, dunno what the pressing is like. Be a shame if they're crap, was going to pick up the vinyl when I get back to the UK (assuming it's still about).

Maybe Soundcloud breaks the ID3 tags? I should probably know this given that I work there. I will investigate, I'm pretty damn sure it was tagged when I uploaded it.
