Even Dalmatian language (even though it is not an original Dalmatian language anymore but more of a remnant of the original language blended with the dialect) in Croatia is different from Croatian.     I speak Serbian too, and fully read Cyrillic (that including Bulgarian), hence also I am reading what is happening there. It is a mess as usual. SFR Yugoslavia was not a clear-cut place. That is the legacy of it.
