just thought i'd post something, since i just got back from barcelona, where i picked up two releases of his, one 'logicofobisme del piano en minuscul', which is great, it comes inside a book with gorgeous color photos of the instruments from his collection and the other 'bar electric'...

i remember buying the first album on cassette, probaly at Kmart or something, when i was in 7th grade. i'll never forget lying in my bedroom, late that night, popping it into my huge sony walkman and hearing that ominous intro with the thunder and the church bells, then those doomsday guitar...

i have been thinking about this ever since i saw that article.. can you imagine the adrenaline of that record score? and i thought i was pumped when i scored an original 45 of televisions 'little johnny jewel' for a dollar at the chelsea flea market... thank you immensely for sharing this link.

i caught a caroliner tour a few years back, at a polish dance club in greenpoint, bklyn. the people that worked there were positively baffled and most likely annoyed. i remember seeing an argument between the bouncer and one of the bar staff about whether the sound constituted music.. definitely...

thats it precisely, i hate how i leave my body and see the dancefloor below me.. how my body gets covered in goosebumps and my throat almost closes because of the intense emotions... its too pure and im not worthy..:(
