The Image, The Film-Maker, His Cow, And Her Cheese [INLAND EMPIRE]

Got to see this last week at the NFT London - with David Lynch in attendance. Absolutely mind-blowing. Don't see it if you're not a fan of Lynch. If you are a fan, you will wish it was even longer than three hours! To me, this is Lynch mulling over his whole film career. Characters, settings...

Films you've seen recently and would unreservedly recommend:

The Fountain Aronovsky's new film. It's very ambitious, and may not succeed in everything it sets out to achieve, but it's certainly one of the most interesting sci-fi movies of the last 20 years.

    dj nerves

Hahahhahaha this thread is funny. Brought back a lot of memories My first paid set was in summer 1994 on my 17th birthday at a club called The Steering Wheel in Birmingham. For the first few records, my hands were shaking so uncontrollably that I could hardly move the pitch slider. I had the...

    Nintendo Wii

Part 2 Since I got the Wii, the Virtual console titles I've bought are Ecco the Dolphin, Donkey Kong Country (which I highly recommend – Rare classic with graphics way beyond its time. Read about it), and the hectic but enjoyable Gunstar Heroes. All of them perfect ports of the originals, and...

    Nintendo Wii

I didn't know that about the c64 and Amiga games - how cool! Anyone who can't hold onto that controller doesn't deserve to own a Wii in the first place - bunch of fuckwits. Anywho - here's my Wii experience: ------------------------------------------- Part 1 I collected the console at 7am...

The Image, The Film-Maker, His Cow, And Her Cheese [INLAND EMPIRE]

After a lot of searching, it seems that there still isn't a uk release date yet. The moral of this story is: don't assume stuff you read on Wikipedia is true. Still, I'm pumped about seeing this - I got a chance to see The Fountain at the weekend and found it slightly underwhelming. Lynch-Lite...

The Image, The Film-Maker, His Cow, And Her Cheese [INLAND EMPIRE]

I don't see any mention of the Camden screening on the second link, but somebody must know something to have bothered to put it on Wiki - I'll keep searching. Can't wait to see this film. Cheers for letting me know!

The Image, The Film-Maker, His Cow, And Her Cheese [INLAND EMPIRE]

hundredmillion, can I ask where you got that release schedule from? I've been scouring the net for news of a UK release date, and there doesn't seem to be any. I phoned both Odeon Camden Town and Odeon Head Office, and nobody knew anything about a showing in february. I hope you're right though!
