    Funky/London/UK House

maybe you don't hear it from the "scene" as half of urban london only discovered house existed 3 years ago. perhaps it's not dubstep people who find it a dirty word, just those to whom linear house isn't a novel idea?

    Funky/London/UK House

I could list you 10 key dubstep artists I would have said the same thing about 5 years ago haha ... Actually it's not funny I'm crying inside..

    Funky/London/UK House

Judging by the last Marcus show Jook10 has made a wobble-funky tune. How do the UKF Border Guards feel about that then eh?

    Dubstep

yes, i was there, had a fantastic time, amazing to hear all those beats again and reflect on what Rinse & FWD have built. agree about the sound too sadly, though it got better and worse at different times - echoy and toppy when not so good. marcus nasty's set was particularly sonically bad -...

I'm with marcus if "we're anti hype" actually means "my manager is, behind the scenes, agressively whoring us out to style press while claiming otherwise".

"you lot" was you and crowlyhead who had the bile out for blake and jamie xx earlier. i dont like all the music in this thread by any means, much of it is utterly mediocre and i avoid it but i'm not going to throw it all out for reasons like a) some of the acts have a lot of PR exposure or b)...

rolling back to the future garage/post-dubstep/alt-funkstep/intelli-2step etc thread

While you lot are obsessing whether you think he is or isn't inviting you to bed, I think James blake's a badman producer. There are lots of people who are classically trained. There are lots of people who can make beats but in essence do nothing special with keys, chords, intervals modes etc...

if New York can die so can London

Things change, loci shift - we know this. But to answer the question "die" it has to be a total mass migration et ... right?
